This service is for companies who have some experience in outsourcing life cycle management and believe that they can accomplish their current outsourcing project mostly on their own; but wish to minimize risk by leveraging TBI’s expertise to learn about or help with some specific aspect of the project, on a short-term contract basis.

Five to Ten Days of Support – Significant Value
This TBI service is personalized to a client’s specific needs. The duration of the needed coaching assistance will vary but, in terms of direct support days, the client will typically receive five to ten days of coaching during a one to four week time period. The value for such services can be significant whether the client is contemplating outsourcing, in the process of outsourcing, or already has an outsourcing contract in place.
TBI’s Strategic Outsourcing Coaching Process
A Strategic Coaching assignment begins with discussion and agreement on project objectives and start-up details. A senior TBI staff member then spends two days or more on-site to understand the client’s outsourcing objectives, status, business and technology context and environment. At the end of the on-site visit, TBI identifies an initial recommendation direction and prepares a high level coaching plan of action for client approval. Coaching is then provided according to the agreed-upon plan by telephone, e-mail and/or on-site, as appropriate.
Fixed Rate Service
TBI charges a fixed fee for the initial visit and the agreed upon direct support days. A TBI Strategic Coaching assignment can deliver significant value, shorten the project life cycle and ensure a higher quality result. The fixed fee will be dependent upon the number of critical aspects of the outsourcing life cycle that need to be reviewed.
